LAUNCH OF JAPANESE COMPANY IN SWEDEN

On the 14th of November, Tomas Event & Design carried out a launch event for 100 guests at Scandic Infra City in Upplands Väsby. It was important that the event reflected the brand and that it created a lasting impression on the guests, long after the party had come to an end. The customer was a Japanese company that was launching itself in Sweden for the first time. Therefore, we created a room that was separated by decor into two different parts. On one side we designed a stylish, cool, Japanese lounge atmosphere where sushi and sparkling wine was served and where geishas greeted the guests in between the bonsai trees. On the other side we designed a Viking settlement with wooden barrels, leaves and oil lanterns. Here, beer was served in tankards; there were dried fruits and berries, and vikings working with various handicrafts. During dinner, the guests were treated to a martial arts show where a Viking fought a ninja. The show was concluded with the pair shaking hands, an act that represented the business cooperation between Japan and Sweden.
