LONDON
Quaint markets and trendy department stores. Beautiful palaces and churches along with a bubbling night-life. Pints at the pub or afternoon tea. In London you can find something for all tastes.
Food and drink
Whatever your craving, you can satisfy your hunger here. London has restaurants serving cuisine from all corners of the world and the food is usually well cooked and delicious. You must of course try the English classics fish ‘n’ chips and afternoon tea. The usual time to go out for dinner is between 7.30pm and 9pm and you should always reserve a table. If you fancy a drink after your meal a pint in the pub is around 35 to 40 kronor, while it is a bit more expensive in bars and clubs.
Entertainment
London has something for everyone. The city is a Mecca for show, musical and theatre fanatics, and the night life is world-class. The Londoners’ obvious evening entertainment is a trip to the pub - a must for every visitor who wants to explore the English pub culture. Pubs are everywhere, but many of them close at 11pm. For the party hungry there are a number of nightclubs to choose from and these shut considerably later... If you want to know what is going on in the city you should pick up a copy of Time Out, a weekly magazine that lists everything that is happening in the world of entertainment during your stay.
